The article is aimed at examining the impact of the economic policy of European integration on the business environment and the effectiveness of its implementation at the current stage. It is established that the economic policy of Ukraine’s European integration is a complex phenomenon that combines legal harmonization, institutional reforms, and economic liberalization. Its essence lies in the transformation of the economic system in accordance with EU standards, which creates new conditions for business operations and the development of the national economy. The impact of the economic policy of European integration on the business environment is generalized. It is revealed that this impact is multifaceted. On the one hand, it creates new opportunities for development, integration into international markets, and increased competitiveness. On the other hand, it is accompanied by rising costs, increased regulatory burden, and intensified competition. The balance between these effects determines the overall outcome of the policy’s impact on the economy. It is concluded that the economic policy of European integration acts as a catalyst for structural changes in the business environment, facilitating the transition to a more efficient and competitive economic model.
The aspects of the implementation of the economic policy of European integration are also generalized. Progress in the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU is noted. It is established that Ukraine continues the systematic implementation of its obligations across various sectors. In particular, the following achievements are highlighted: gradual approximation of standards to EU requirements, creating conditions for mutual recognition of products; introduction of transparent procedures and digital platforms for business, contributing to increased competition and reduced corruption risks; changes in the structure of Ukraine’s foreign trade, with the EU remaining a key trading partner, confirming the effectiveness of trade integration; reforms in public administration, which create institutional preconditions for the effective implementation of economic policy and improvement of the business climate; and the adoption by businesses of modern standards of quality management and environmental responsibility, contributing to the overall development of the business environment.
