Adherence to the Principles and Recommendations of COPE, WAME, and DORA

The Bulletin adheres to internationally recognised principles of publication ethics and responsible scholarly publishing, and takes into account the recommendations of the following initiatives:

COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)

The editorial team uses COPE recommendations as a framework for preventing and responding to violations of publication ethics, including those related to plagiarism, data manipulation, conflicts of interest, authorship disputes, corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions.

WAME (World Association of Medical Editors) - Principles of Editorial Integrity

The editorial team supports approaches that promote transparency in editorial decisions, independence of the peer review process, proper management of conflicts of interest, and accountability of the editorial team.

DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment)

The Bulletin endorses the principles of responsible research assessment and does not encourage the evaluation of manuscript quality or author contributions based solely on formal indicators. Publication decisions are based on the scientific quality of the work, its novelty, the soundness of the methods employed, and the significance of the findings.
